The very first Vipp pedal bin was designed in 1939 by skilled craftman Holder Nielsen for the hairdressing salon of his new bride, Marie. The bin was not intended to be sold but Marie's customers were so impressed with the bin that they ordered it for their husband's surgeries or dental clinics.
Production of the Vipp pedal bins still takes place in Denmark. All components are manufactured here and the bins are hand assembled by skilled craftsmen. A Vipp bin consists of up to 42 components.
Today the pedal bin is produced in 6 sizes and has been supplemented by a matching toilet brush, a soap dispenser and lately also towels in 3 sizes.

Vipp Towels
The matching towel collection is made from 35% modal fibres and 65% cotton. The modal fibres ensure maximum absorption and short drying time while the cotton adds strength and softness.
The towels are available in 3 sizes
